Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas started its operation in 2007-2008 school years at Tamarus Campus as a replication of Coral Academy of Science Reno.

Tuition-Free

Our parents and students have chosen to be a part of our school due to our strong academic program, and we are able to provide that high quality education without the need of charging tuition.

STEM Education

We have participated in many academic competitions over the past four years and our students have won several awards at these competitions, such as Science Olympiads, Science Fairs, statewide Science Bowls, Math Counts competitions, and Lego Robotics competitions.

School Closure

 

Per Governor Sisolak’s extension of the state’s emergency measures, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (“CASLV”) campuses will remain closed through April 30th, 2020. Distance Education, which began on March 23, 2020, will continue at all of our campuses.  If you need any help regarding your child’s distance education, please contact your campus administration. Our Spring Break will remain as scheduled from April 4th through April 12th; there will be no distance education during Spring Break. Distance education will resume on April 13, 2020.

This action is an extra measure of protection to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19. CASLV strongly recommends that all children stay home during this time. Family members are also encouraged to continue practicing social distancing, washing their hands with soap and warm water, and avoid touching their face.

We understand the significant impact school closure will have on families, and we are committed to addressing the needs of all our students. We are working with the Nevada State Public Charter School Authority and the Nevada Department of Education to ensure that your children’s education is not interrupted by this closure. 

More information will be emailed to you from individual campuses. Important items will also be posted on our website and social media pages, regarding instructions and other supports for students and families. 

The health and safety of our students, staff, and community are our top priorities. We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this rapidly changing public health crisis.

As a reminder, if students and families need meal assistance, here is the link to the Food Distribution locations for students in Clark County. We have confirmed that any student, including CASLV students, is eligible to pick up food.
