Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas
The mission of CASLV is to provide a safe, rigorous college preparatory environment that promotes social responsibility and a culturally diverse community dedicated to becoming lifelong learners bound for success.
NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS
We are pleased to announce that CASLV Sandy Ridge Campus has been selected to participate in the National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as NAEP. The results are called The Nation’s Report Card because it measures student achievement across the country. It is important because the results help the President, Congress, and all of our educators make decisions about how to improve our education system. Not every student will be asked to take part in the assessment, we encourage selected students to take it seriously and do their best. They will represent other students and they have a chance to have an impact on the future education policy decisions in the United States. Every student that is selected to participate makes a difference.
Selected 8th grade students will participate NAEP on Tuesday, January 31st and students’ parents will be notified by email.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas started its operation in 2007-2008 school years at Tamarus Campus as a replication of Coral Academy of Science Reno.
Our parents and students have chosen to be a part of our school due to our strong academic program, and we are able to provide that high quality education without the need of charging tuition.
We have participated in many academic competitions over the past four years and our students have won several awards at these competitions, such as Science Olympiads, Science Fairs, statewide Science Bowls, Math Counts competitions, and Lego Robotics competitions.
